Of Suns and Rains

Alright, the 'smile.mp3' was for the last post, Blog Revival.

Here, I've made another.

Only this time, it's pure plagiarism. The main melody being the most obvious.

It's tune, which actually is the kick of the song is a total rip-off from the beatles' "Octopus garden". Well, oasis did it too in the least of it and it sounded lovely. On to the lyrics, main influence being "I'll follow the sun". Notice the usage of suns and rains. Still, it was lyrics all from the head, i didnt even write them on paper. Woke up, and there it was. The solo bit in the mid is the least obvious of all rip-offs, I made a alternative to a "let it be" piece and slip it into the song.

But hey, have a listen......It's one of our feel good numbers.

Did it on one take. So, bloops are obvious. Limited vocal harmony. I'm proud of my vocals this time. Pitchy ? Yeah, but that's the way it should be.More natural I guess. I mean, McCartney was pitchy in "hold me tight" and so was Liam Gallagher in "Supersonic". So, let it be.

I was smiling and had a lot of fun making it. Had a 'I forgot my lyric' moment in one of the two bridges, was laughing in silence there. Couldn't care less though. Like I said, It was supposed to feel good.

I'd love the sun, If you were the one, I'd love you like you'd always love me too.
